Military movie

The MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, 503 E. Ninth St., Little Rock, will screen the documentary Baghdad ER, 6:30 p.m. today, part of the Movies at MacArthur series. The documentary, directed by Emmy Award-winner Jon Alpert, focuses on the 86th Combat Support Hospital, the Army's premier medical facility in Iraq. Admission, popcorn and soft drinks are free. Clinton School talk

In a collaboration between the Clinton School of Public Service and Arkansas Public Media, Russell Lewis, National Public Radio's Southern bureau chief, will give a talk titled "Covering the South," 6 p.m. Thursday in the Darragh Center, Central Arkansas Library System's Main Library, 100 Rock St., Little Rock.

WWI exhibit

"On the Fields and in the Trenches: Relics of the First World War," an exhibit of World War I artifacts in the Arkansas State Archives museum collection, including weapons, medical equipment, medals, photographs, a uniform and military helmets, is now on display at the archives, 1 Capitol Mall, Little Rock. The exhibit commemorates the 100th anniversary of the United States' entry into World War I. Hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Admission is free. Call (501) 682-6900.

'Shots of the Rock'

"Shots of the Rock," photos Little Rock photographer Dale Ellis has taken over three years in and around Little Rock and North Little Rock, is on display at the Lobby Bar, 320 W. War letters

"War Comes Home: The Legacy," a touring exhibit featuring letters from more than a dozen American soldiers serving overseas and their loved ones from the Civil War era to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, are on display through March 10 in Ottenheimer Library at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, 2801 S. University Ave., Little Rock. Library hours are 7:30 a.m.-12:30 a.m. Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Sunday. Admission is free. AUDITIONS

Godspell casting

The Arkansas Repertory Theatre will hold auditions March 2, by appointment only, at its Education Annex, 518 Main St., Little Rock, for a black male singer/dancer/actor, late 20s-mid 30s, for the role of the Barker in the musical Godspell (sings "All Good Gifts" and "On the Willows" and understudies Jesus). Director Donna Drake, with choreography by 2 Ring Circus, reimagines the show inside a newly bankrupt family circus on the outskirts of Birmingham, Ala., in 1968, at the peak of the civil rights movement.

Requirements: an actor "who sings amazingly and dances well with skills in partnering. Any special skills are welcome including juggling, magic, instrument playing, etc.," and/or a willingness to learn "a few specific ground circus skills." Provide a head shot and resume; the audition will involve specific scenes and songs from the show, available online at therep.org/work-with-us/auditionsides.aspx
