SPRINGDALE -- Superintendent Jim Rollins is among 14 leaders of school districts from across the country to be named in this year's Leaders to Learn From report by Education Week.
Rollins is featured for his leadership in managing growth and demographic change within the Springdale School District and is highlighted at leaders.edweek.org as a "superintendent who builds bridges to new immigrant communities."
Education Week editors considered more than 750 nominees whose names were submitted by readers, journalists, school administrator groups and experts in kindergarten through 12th grade education. This is the fifth year of the annual report on district leaders.
This year's leaders will be honored at a Leaders to Learn From event set for March 31 in Washington.
