Hall scored 25 points to lead Pea Ridge to a 61-48 victory over Subiaco Academy Friday in the 4A North Regional at the Tiger Dome. Subiaco Academy rallied from deficits of 12-2 and 25-15 to get within 37-33 after a 3-point goal by Devon Forst late in the third quarter. But Hall answered with a deep 3-pointer and the Blackhawks pulled away in the fourth quarter against the Trojans (17-13), who rallied to beat Shiloh Christian 52-49 on Thursday.

Hall, who made four 3-pointers, had 15 points in the second half and made two steals that Pea Ridge (29-2) converted into fast break layups. Matt Thomas added 19 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter when Pea Ridge outscored the Trojans 21-12.

"(Hall) came out with the attitude that 'we're not going to lose this game,'" Pea Ridge coach Trent Loyd said. "A lot of guys made plays. But he made the plays to get us over that hump after they made their run."

Subiaco Academy closed in on Pea Ridge behind the play of James Taylor and Elvis Janga. Janga scored six quick points and completed a three-point play after a drive to the basket. Taylor followed with a reverse layup and Forst made a 3-pointer to cut the Pea Ridge lead to 45-43 early in the fourth quarter.

Subiaco Academy then went cold and Hall finished the Trojans off with two more baskets with under two minutes to play.

"We had a lull there in the third quarter, but I was proud of the way we buckled down there midway through the fourth quarter," Loyd said.

Taylor finished with 17 points and Janga 13 to lead the Trojans.
