Oppression is topic for interfaith panel

The Interfaith Center in Little Rock is sponsoring an interfaith discussion at 5:30 p.m. March 5 at Temple B'nai Israel, 3700 N. Rodney Parham Road. The program, "Honest Together, Stronger Together: Christians, Jews and Muslims in Conversation," will begin with registration at 5:15 p.m.

Participants will include Rabbi Barry Block, the Rev. Karen Akin and Dr. Sara Tariq. Each will talk about how their faith tradition and scriptures have been misused to hurt or oppress others. Attendees will then participate in facilitated table discussions. A potluck meal and time for fellowship will come after.
