Arkansas Symphony Orchestra co-concertmaster Kiril Laskarov, violin; Stephen Feldman, cello; and Kara Benyas, piano, will play the Piano Trio in a minor, op.50, by Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky for the orchestra's River Rhapsodies Chamber Music Series, 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock.

Easkey Britton, big-wave surfer, artist, scientist and explorer, will give a talk Wednesday at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville.

The orchestra's Rockefeller String Quartet -- Trisha McGovern Freeney and Katherine Williamson, violin; Katherine Reynolds, viola; and Ethan Young, cello -- will play John Adams' String Quartet No. 1.

Daisy reunion

Driving Miss Daisy cast members Candyce Hinkle, Jeff Bailey and Ralusrai Richardson put on a reunion production of Alfred Uhry's award-winning play, opening Tuesday and running through March 25 at Murry's Dinner Playhouse, 6323 Col. Glenn Road, Little Rock, and part of Murry's 50th anniversary lineup.

Big-wave surfer, artist, scientist and explorer Easkey Britton will give a talk titled "Be Like Water: Reflections on Developing a Cross-Cultural Program for Women, Surfing and Social Good," 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Rogers Conference Center at University of the Ozarks, 415 N. Bluegrass Monday

• March 27 is the deadline for students attending or planning to attend an Arkansas college and major in music to apply to audition for the Arkansas Choral Society's $1,000 Wang Music Scholarship, 7 p.m. March 30 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5700 Cantrell Road, Little Rock. Auditioners should prepare one selection and provide sheet music for the accompanist. • Cleveland area-based Resonanz Opera will hold auditions, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. March 18 in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall, Fine Arts Building, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, 2801 S. University Ave., Little Rock, for its 2017 Singing Arts Festival, a three-week study program in conjunction with the Louise Davis Savage Mainstage Opera Festival, Aug. 14-27 in Willoughby, Ohio.

Resonanz bills itself as "a national opera company with a holistic approach to the development of top-tiered opera singers." The festival will include performances of Maurice Ravel's L'Enfant et les sortileges (sung in English), Francis Poulenc's Dialogues of the Carmelites, Thomas Pasatieri's Before Breakfast and Peter Skoggard's La voix perdue.

Skok, a mezzo-soprano who has sung at the Metropolitan Opera, will also conduct master classes March 16 in Conway -- 1:30 p.m. in the Snow Fine Arts Building, University of Central Arkansas, 201 Donaghey Ave., and 3 p.m. in Reves Recital Hall at Hendrix College, 1600 Washington Ave. Both are free and open to the public.
