Author Metaxas speaks at Harding

The American Studies Institute Distinguished Lecture Series at Harding University in Searcy will feature Eric Metaxas as speaker at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The lecture by The New York Times best-selling author will be held in Benson Auditorium. The event is free. No tickets are necessary.

Metaxas is known for his best-sellers Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy and Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery, which was the selected book for the first year of "Harding Read" in 2016. Metaxas has also written more than 30 children's books. He hosts the nationally syndicated radio program The Eric Metaxas Show and is a commentator on the radio program BreakPoint along with John Stonestreet.
