Arvest Bank has hired Madeline Kurrus Moore as human resources manager for the bank's central Arkansas market.
Jerry M. Hunter and Mindy West have been added to the Simmons First National Corp. board of directors.
Karen E. Shaw has been promoted to the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer of Citizens Bankin Batesville. The bank also announced the promotion of Pamela J. Jones to the position of executive vice president and senior loan operations officer.
Big Creek Bancshares Inc. acquired Forrest City Financial Corp., the parent company of Forrest City Bank N.A. Mark Waldrip is chairman and chief executive officer of the bank, now known as Armor Bank N.A., and Nathan Waldrip will serve as a director. Dwight Rutland will maintain his position as president and serve as a director. Other directors include Brad Beavers, Steve Edwards and Drew Higginbothom.

Deltic Timber Corp. announced Greg Stewart has rejoined Deltic as business analyst for the real estate segment. Chris Nelson has been promoted to general manager of the Ola region. Brad Faulkner will assume the daily responsibilities for operations of the Ola Mill as its production superintendent.

Darrell Bowman has been named director of the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission.

The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance has elected Tonya Sexton as board president. The Alliance also announced the addition of Michael Lindsey to the 18-member board.
Latriece Watkins will serve as the honorary race chairman for the 2017 Komen Ozark Race for the Cure.
