Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian Steve Harvey serves as host of Showtime at the Apollo, a one-hour reimagining of the classic talent showcase series. It airs at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Fox.
Harvey returns to the theater that launched his career along with Chaka Khan, T.I. featuring Meed Mill, Quavo and RaRa, Mike Epps and Gabriel Iglesias. Also featured is the Apollo's legendary Amateur Nights live-talent competition, now in its 82nd year. The competition provides a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform in front of a live audience.
