— The Saturday session of The Opening showcased the talent of 166 of the top prospects in the nation along with some Arkansas targets.

Quarterback Matt Corral of Long Beach Poly in Ca. won the longest throw with a toss of 76 yards.

Clemson quarterback commitment Trevor Lawrence of Cartersville, Ga. was second with 73 yards.

Cornerback Isaac Taylor-Stuart of San Diego St Augustine won the fastest man with a 4.45.

Arkansas linebacker target and LSU commitment Micah Baskerville of Shreveport Evangel had a good session of cat-and-mouse against the running backs at the event. I didn't get to see every rep of his, but the ones I did he got the best of the running backs. He's on the interview list.

Hog offensive line target Penei Sewell of St. George (Utah) Desert Hills had a very good Saturday session during 1-on-

1's. I didn't see him lose a rep. He's so well coached and is hardly ever out of position. If he wasn't the most impressive offensive lineman today, he was without a doubt one of the best.

Offensive lineman Curtis Dunlap Jr. of IMG Academy in Fla. also had a good session while working out at center. He measured 6-5 and weighed in at 366. I could see him playing every spot on the line. Great versatilely.

Highly recruited defensive lineman Xavier Thomas of IMG Academy in Florida dominated 2019 offensive tackle Devontae Dobbs on one play by planting him on the ground, but Dobbs, who has an Arkansas offer, came back and finished strong in 1-on-1's. Dobbs, 6-5, 286, 5.20 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Belleville, Michigan is the only junior offensive lineman at the event.

2019 running back John Emery Jr. of Destrehan, Louisiana had a good Saturday during the cat-and-mouse with the linebackers. He didn't win every rep, but I'm told he really came on strong at the end of the day and made some linebackers look silly. The Hogs were the third school to offer him. He's another prospect I'm planning to talk to.

I spent half the time watching the running backs and linebackers in the cat-and-mouse and half the time watching the linemen in 1-on-1's so I'm sure I missed some good performances by some running backs, but it seemed like the linebackers had the upper hand this year vs. last.

Arkansas freshman running back Chase Hayden had one of the best showings in the cat-and-mouse in last year's competition. I just remember watching today's event thinking there was no one making linebackers look bad as much as Chase did last year. I believe Chase will show that type of elusiveness during his career at Arkansas.
