Bibliophiles and bargain hunters should find plenty to make them happy at the Friends of Central Arkansas Libraries Used Book Sale. The Central Arkansas Library System Main Library, 100 Rock St., Little Rock, is packed with books during the regular sale, open to the public 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Admission is free, with hardback books $1 and paperbacks 50 cents. The preview sales, 5-7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday, have a $5 admission fee, free for FOCAL members. A brainy, beautiful teenage misfit (Natalie Williams) hustles her way into her high school's most powerful and ruthless clique, then falls for the dangerously sexy new kid (Koty Mansfield) in Heathers (music, book and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O'Keefe, based on the 1988 film). Community Theatre of Little Rock is staging the musical, 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday and July 21-22 and 28-29 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 23 and 30 at the Studio Theatre, 320 W. Seventh St., Little Rock. The show's mature themes and situations makes it unsuitable for children or younger teens. Bug out at the Clinton Presidential Center's Creepy Crawly Cinema weekend. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will hold its 32nd Annual Fishing Derby for kids under 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today at the pond in MacArthur Park, East Ninth and Commerce streets, Little Rock.
