Agree TT. The Cruz amendment has been analyzed by industry experts and will actually create financial hardship, either on the carriers or the insured since it essentially cherry-picks the pool. Got a pre-existing condition? Only one plan you can sign up for and it's expensive.
...
It's hanging on by a thread and that thread unravels each day. We'll see what the CBO score comes out to be next week. Unless it's radical improvement, you can write this off as yet another failure by the Republicans in Congress and Trump.
...
Saw yesterday Trump's claims that he's done more in 5 months than any president ever. Almost fell off the throne reading that sack of lies. He and Wowy are cut from the same mold, pathological liars.

This is the same terrible bill from before made worse by the Cruz amendment. If passed into law, it will result in the deaths of thousands of Arkansans. That blood will be on Cotton and Boozman's hands.

I ve changed my mind on the health bill. We all die it is just a matter of when. The world is a cold place that owes you nothing, and just because we are in the 2nd decade of 21st century doesnt mean that civilization means we have to take care of the weak , the poor, the children or the elderly. The great plan , one of mystery and awe [ guess you could say shock an awe] already determined our destiny before the world was created.

we have deity representatives to pray at our funerals, funeral homes to put us in the ground, and doctors to declare we are dead, so dying is taken care of. The living is our duty so that is on us. Ancient Sparta used to leave deformed babies out to die so as not to weaken the society or be a burden on society, and as we know they were great warriors.

I wold also submit for your consideration that there is not one word or injunction on the Idol that was recently rearranged that refers to health care. Therefore, that must not be that important in the grand scheme of things [ certainly not as important as the injunction to not have the "THOUGHT" of wanting your neighbors ass or lawnmower or wife, all things he worked hard to obtain] .

Some on the left will refer to Nixon about wanting health care, but I remind them he also had something to do with EPA, which took away states rights run by gop to dirty our air and water so that the large medical and insurance industry could crate jobs jobs jobs, and now red state legislatures and Don Jr's dad wants to reverse this by bringing back the good old days-- whats in the water and air , you wont know what it is till you are dying, then being dead, you have no worries. Worry causes stress.

1 John 2:22 "Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ. He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son." Not my words, but God's, the true deity who is mocked by so many on this website.

gohogs, you're so funny. You take this hateful attitude about people, then come back trying to look like a pious Christian condemning others with the "wrath of God." If anything, we're mocking you who tries to claim to be the authority of God. I'd love to have a debate about the authenticity and literal interpretation of the scriptures, but I know you wouldn't be able to hold up your end of the bargain based on prior situations. Oh, and Collins is a heck of a lot more intelligent than you or some of your social cons.

For the hog fellow the old Jeffery Dahmer(Milwaukee cannibal )paradox before Dahmer was killed( by a fellow prisoner), he had meet the born again salvation rituals and incantations by public confession and full immersion in a prison whirlpool tub by a Pentecostal preacher (stipulate validity of Pentecostal ritual) and by Evangelical dogma is in heaven, however Mother Theresa as a Catholic was not born again with Evangelical ritual and therefore is in hell , so does the hog fellow really believe Mother Theresa is in Hell while Jeffery Dahmer is in Heaven?

"Now that members actually have paper in their hand they can look at..."
So...Here's a bill that restructures healthcare, now vote on it.
That's just really good legislating right there.
And Jesus spoke..."I gots mines"

bearie: Kettle meet pot, pot meet kettle. You hypocrite, calling me out like that! You, treetopper, googoo (aka armnar), woodchuck, cabinetmaker and many others are like a pack of wolves. In your eyes, only those who agree wholeheartedly with each of you are exempt from a vitriolic attack by all. You, and those like you, are what's wrong with this country today. You're full of poison, hate, and intolerance towards any views other than your own. I get my "authority" from the word of God, the Bible. I know you and the rest ignore, mock, and ridicule it but you can't change it, no matter what. I'd debate you on any of it but your already biased view wouldn't let it happen. You may be right about Collins, she is more intelligent than yourself, no doubt. BTW, I quoted that Scripture for you atheists who deny Christ, not for my benefit. Civil discourse, on any subject, is impossible with you and the rest of your communist buddies.
