Benton County Sheriff's Office

• Kevin Joseph Holmes, 39, of 13854 Cortez Court in Rogers was arrested Friday in connection with aggravated assault on a family or household member. Holmes was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail on a $20,000 bond.

Bentonville

• Yates Kiernan Oneil, 20, of 14 Meadow Brook Circle was arrested Wednesday in connection with battery, criminal mischief, domestic battering, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and tampering with physical evidence. Oneil was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

• Adrain Vargas-Morales, 21, of 22 Annabell in Bella Vista was arrested Friday in connection with distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. Vargas-Morales was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

• Sierra Johnson, 25, of 474 N. Coral Canyon Loop was arrested Thursday in connection with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a forgery device, fraud and theft of property. Multiple employees reported thefts and one identified Johnson. She was found with 46 stolen items or boxes, some with up to 50 syringes in a box, and 17 different prescriptions, according to an arrest report. Johnson was being held Friday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set. Johnson was working at Washington Regional Medical Center.

Rogers

• Leonel Meza-Avelar, 22, of 609 Mimosa Lane was arrested Thursday in connection with breaking or entering and theft of property. Meza-Avelar was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

• Shane Allen Dyson, 25, of 13896 Cloverdale was arrested Friday in connection with breaking or entering. Dyson was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Springdale

• Curtis Turner, 31, of 1107 White Road was arrested Friday in connection with robbery and criminal trespass. Police said Turner took multiple items from the Wal-Mart at 2400 S. Pleasant St. in Springdale and rammed an employee in the chest with his shoulder to knock him out of the way to get out of the store, according to a preliminary report. Turner was being held Friday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.

• Ashley McDonald, 32, of 1701 S. West End was arrested Friday in connection with aggravated assault of a family or household member. McDonald was being held Friday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.

• Jimmy Smith, 32, of 1205 Boxley Drive in Fayetteville was arrested Thursday in connection with domestic battering. Smith was being held Friday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.

• Theft was reported at 12:03 p.m. Wednesday at 1950 N. Dogwood St. in Siloam Springs.

• A stolen vehicle was reported at 9:09 a.m. Thursday at 404 S.E. G St.

• Burglary was reported at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at 723 W. Central Ave.

• Burglary was reported at 12:54 p.m. Thursday at 602 S.E. Eighth St.

Accidents

A scooter driver was sent to a hospital after a hit-and-run accident at 4:38 a.m. Friday at the intersection of West Persimmon Street and Salem Road. A vehicle description was not available.

Fire

Fayetteville

• A vehicle fire was reported at 2:36 p.m. Thursday in the Washington Regional Medical Center parking lot on West Appleby Road. The small fire was put out with a water can by a bystander, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.

• A vehicle fire was reported at 3:33 p.m. Thursday on East North Street. A bystander put out the flame with a fire extinguisher, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.

• A structure fire was reported at 2:33 a.m. Friday at 2678 N. Club Drive, No. 9. Firefighters found an overheated motor in an air conditioner, but no flames were seen, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.
