Tedeschi Trucks Band joins brewers at Craft for Causes

The Tedeschi Trucks Band, on its Wheels of Soul tour, performs at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Walmart AMP, 5079 W. Northgate Road, Rogers. The Wood Brothers and Hot Tuna will be the opening acts. The Tedeschi Trucks Band has partnered with Craft For Causes, a nonprofit that pairs the craft brew industry with music groups to support charitable causes. Antebellum film

Country trio Lady Antebellum (Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott) brings its recently released sixth studio album, Heart Break, plus exclusive interview footage, to the big screen in Artists Den Presents Lady Antebellum, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Breckenridge 12 and the Colonel Glenn 18 in Little Rock and the Razorback Cinema in Fayetteville. Bluegrass duo

Husband-and-wife bluegrass duo Kenny and Amanda Smith will perform at 7 p.m. Monday at Collins Theatre, 120 W. Emerson St., Paragould, for Jonesboro public radio station KASU-FM, 91.9's Bluegrass Monday series. Doors open at 6. The station will literally pass the hat to pay the musicians. Musical Garden

Fort Smith Little Theatre, 401 N. Sixth St., Fort Smith, stages The Secret Garden (music by Lucy Simon, book and lyrics by Marsha Norman, based on the classic children's story by Frances Hodgson Burnett), with an opening-night gala performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and subsequent shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Aug. 2-5 and 10-12 and 2 p.m. July 30 and Aug. 6. Rogers show, auditions

Arkansas Public Theatre will stage The Wedding Singer (music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, book by Beguelin and Tim Herlihy), 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday and Aug. 3-5 and 10-12 and 2 p.m. July 30 and Aug. 6 and 13 at Victory Theater, 116 S. The theater will also hold auditions for The Rocky Horror Show (book, music and lyrics by Richard O'Brien), 7 p.m. July 31 at Victory Theater. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Auditions will be based upon readings from the script, music from the show and a dance combination. Cliburn medalist

South Korean pianist Yekwon Sunwoo, gold medalist at the 15th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, will give a recital at 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, 600 Museum Way, Bentonville. The nationwide tour is part of the prize package that includes a cash award, artist representation and management and a recording. The competition took place May 25-June 10 at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. Sunwoo's program: Piano Sonata in c minor, D.958, by Franz Schubert; Ramble on the Last Love-Duet From Richard Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier by Percy Grainger; Piano Sonata No. 2 in b-flat minor, op.36, by Sergei Rachmaninoff; and La Valse by Maurice Ravel. 8-year-old filmmaker

Eight-year-old Bob Sheen, writer and director of The Rake, and the film's producer, Erik Fleming, will attend and take part in a question-and-answer session following the screening of the short film, 7 p.m. Sept. 23 at Central Theater, 1008 Central Ave., Hot Springs. It's part of the fifth annual Hot Springs International Horror Film Festival, Sept. 21-24. Bob, son of Charlie Sheen, nephew of Emilio Estevez and grandson of Martin Sheen, is a horror-film aficionado who loves the zombie genre. Festival submissions close Aug. 31. New arts season

O Sole Trio -- soprano Erin Shields, baritone Giuseppe Spoletini and violinist-pianist David Shenton -- opens Arkansas State University-Mountain Home's seventh performing arts series season with its "Bravissimo Broadway" program, 7 p.m. Sept. 14 on the Dykstra Stage, Vada Sheid Community Development Center, Ed Coulter Performing Arts Center, 1600 S.
