Earnings report

Companies reporting quarterly earnings Wednesday included:

Anthem Inc., the health insurer, $855 million, or $3.16 a share, up from $780 million or $2.91 a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 4 percent to $22.4 billion. Shares fell $5.59 to close Wednesday at $184.99.

Boeing Co., a profit of $1.76 billion, or $2.89 a share, from a loss of $234 million, or 37 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was $22.74 billion. Shares rose $20.99 to close at $233.45.

Coca-Cola Co., the soda giant, a profit of $1.37 billion or 32 cents a share, down from $3.4 billion, or 79 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue fell 16 percent to $9.7 billion. Shares rose 50 cents to close at $45.74.

Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., the hotelier, a profit of $166 million, or 51 cents a share, down from $239 million, or 72 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was $2.3 billion. Shares fell 56 cents to close at $62.52.

Whole Foods Market Inc., the organic-food grocer, a profit of $106 million, or 33 cents a share, down from $120 million, or 37 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was $3.73 billion. Shares rose 6 cents to close at $41.81.
