About "But the ranks of professional diplomats, aides and officials who attend the event to promote American policy priorities on a range of issues will be thinned out"....Read: "The ranks of the people who actually know something about the topics at hand will be thinned out". Shrewd.

About "Trump demonstrated at the NATO and G-20 meetings that he doesn't really know how to behave on these occasions," Read: "Trump is an incompetent blowhard and putz, as well as being an embarrassment on the international stage." I am ashamed that my president has all of the behavior control of a screaming and unmonitored toddler set free in WalMart. We have all seen them; it isn't a pretty sight. Neither is our president in an international setting.
*
About "should be absolutely cocooning the president in staffers in the hope that they can keep him away from trouble." Pathetic.

Want to save some money? Cut back on the weekly golfing outings and trips to Mar-a-lago. Reconsider dropping a bomb that which costs sixteen million dollars, and three hundred million dollars to develop on the smallest militia in the world and doesn't accomplish diddly squat.

Well the folks Trump would need at the UN to fairly represent him would be David Duke and Joey No Socks.
