Guests circulated among tables of wine and beer on June 1 as they sampled their way between the two River Market Pavilions at Flowing on the River. The sixth annual event was the kickoff for Riverfest weekend.
Natural State Wines and Arkansas Craft Distributors helped sponsor the Riverfest pre-party. They and other distributors lined the sides of the pavilions and offered sips of boutique wines and craft beers to partygoers.
Attendees also enjoyed a buffet dinner from Chuy's that included rice, beans, cheese dip and chips and build-your-own tacos. Entertainment was by the band FreeVerse. The evening also included a wine-pull and a raffle to win a PK Grill.
Catherine Cole was chairman of this year's Riverfest planning committee. The festival celebrated its 40th year as a music and arts festival, now held in downtown Little Rock.
