A Cammack Village man was robbed of a $100 bill in Little Rock early Saturday after a stranger lifted his shirt to show a gun, police said.

The 20-year-old victim told police he was in the 4100 block of Asher Avenue around 1:30 a.m. when the assailant approached him.

The stranger raised his shirt to display a black handgun and demanded money, the victim told police.

The 20-year-old reportedly handed over a $100 bill, and the gunman left.

No suspect was named on the report.

Moral to that story? Don't be on the "4100 block of Asher at 1:30am."

Quit buying drugs in south LR, bro. You'll live longer.

A far better and more interesting store would have been, " The stranger raised his shirt to display a black handgun and the intended victim, reasonably fearing for his life, quickly drew his weapon a shot the ne'er-do-well - twice in the chest and once in the head - thereby ending the decedent's criminal career." Hey LRDawg - So, let me see if I have this straight. It's the victim's fault? Do you also believe girls that wear short skirts deserve it when they get raped?

Pack you get what you ask for....wanna be in the 4100 block of Asher at 1:30 am? If so you'll probably get robbed. Are these women wearing short skirts at 1:30 am wondering the street? If so they'll probably be raped. Be smart, don't put yourself in bad situations. Someone from Cammack Village isn't making a smart decision if they decide to be playing around on Asher at 1:30 am. Try it out though Pack....let me know how it goes for ya

Why is the victims alleged home neighborhood even mentioned in this story anyway? And not even the victims name! Did it even really happen?

Pretty soon there'll be stories like - someone somewhere was the victim of a crime, the particulars are not immediately available. -

And still nothing in the ADG regarding the armed robbery early Sunday evening in the main hospital @ UAMS.

@LR1955: Cammack Village isn't just a "home neighborhood"; it's a legally separate city much like NLR, Maumelle or Sherwood. (Which even further tells you why he shouldn't have been on Asher at 1:30 in the morning.)
