At the scene, Lt. Steve McClanahan noted that drive-by shootings are happening too frequently in Arkansas' capital city. Police were investigating at least six reports of gunfire with no injuries in a span of three days last week, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.

He called on members of the community to be proactive in reducing violence, adding that gun violence affects everyone.

No further information was available Tuesday evening.
