FAYETTEVILLE -- Former Arkansas Razorback tight end Jeremy Sprinkle displayed his speed on Saturday at the NFL Scouting Combine with a top 10 finish at his position group.

Sprinkle, a White Hall native, turned in a 4.63 in the 40-yard dash. Former SEC tight ends dominated in the sprint, with Ole Miss' Evan Engram running a 4.42 to win the event, and Alabama's O.J. Howard turning in a 4.51 to finish second.

Ex-Arkansas receivers Keon Hatcher and Drew Morgan didn't blow the scouts away with their speed.

Hatcher ran a 4.64 to rank 46th among the 51 receivers who ran at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Morgan's 4.74 time was last among the receivers.

Former Washington standout John Ross ran a combine-record 4.22 in the 40-yard dash, though he hurt himself in the final few yards.

Sprinkle also performed well in the broad jump and the vertical jump. The 6-6, 256-pounder tied for 10th among tight ends in the broad jump with a leap of 9 feet, 8 inches. He was 14th in the vertical jump at 29 inches, which was 10 inches shorter than Virginia Tech's Bucky Hodges, who won the event.

Hatcher performed better on the 225-pound bench press, as his 16 reps tied for 10th place behind Billy Brown of Shepherd, who had 23 reps.

Morgan ran the three-cone drill in 11.19 seconds to finish fifth among receivers. West Virginia's Shelton Gibson won the event with a 10.71.

On Friday, Arkansas offensive tackle Dan Skipper turned in a 5.42 time in the 40, which ranked toward the back of the pack at his position. TCU's Aviante Collins topped the position group with a 4.81 time.

Former Arkansas defensive linemen Jeremiah Ledbetter and Deatrch Wise Jr., and linebacker Brooks Ellis will participate in on-field drills today in Indianapolis.
