Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., offers Lenten meditations and soup suppers every Wednesday through Lent. Supper is served from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at a cost of $3 per person or $5 per family. Meditations run from 6:30 to 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

The church has opened registration for its summer arts camp, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 19-23, for children entering grades 1 to 6. Classes include hand chimes, guitar, line dancing, card making, watercolor collage, weaving, junk sculpture and more. Cost is $10 per student, with scholarships for families entering multiple students.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday. The pantry needs donations of shampoo, body wash and toothbrushes, and any $5 coupon from Dollar General will be used to buy hygiene products.

The church offers a Lenten study at 2 p.m. Thursday through April 6. The Rev. Dennis Ritchie and the Rev. Liz Wagner, church pastors, lead the study, "Aging Matters: Finding Your Calling for the Rest of Your Life," by R. Paul Stevens. Study books are $12.

Sunday, and on the third Sunday of each month, the church collects money for the Cents-Ability Hunger Program of the of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Small group study, craft and activity groups for adults and programs for children run from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. A representative of the Benton County office of the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service offers cooking tips Wednesday. A representative of the AARP offers a driving refresher course March 29. A program about the Bella Vista trails is planned April 19, and a two-mile hike on the trails is planned for April 26.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, 224 N. East Ave., presents Noye's Fludde by Benjamin Britten for free at 2 p.m. April 2. The short, dramatic opera is a medieval Miracle Play, with a chorus of children and professional singers accompanied by a small orchestra, an organ and a piano.

First United Methodist Church in Springdale, 206 W. Johnson Ave., presents Amber C. Haines, a Fayetteville writer and poet, as its "local artist for Lent." She will present spoken word reflections during Lenten worship services at 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. each Sunday through April 9. The church's local arts initiative exists "to enliven the Christian imagination by creating opportunities for engagement with the arts and supporting local artists in Northwest Arkansas." Christ for fhe World Church in Fort Smith, 4401 Windsor Dr., presents an international conference, "Living in Your Prophetic Destiny," on Wednesday to Sunday.
