LAST SATURDAY FAYETTEVILLE — Presented by the NWA Creative Arts Network, Last Saturday Fayetteville is a free monthly variety extravaganza which showcases local performers, entertaining with 10-minute featurettes. Spotlight artists for March are: The Lark and the Loon (pictured), Rodeo Book Club, Sweet Darlin and Vanimal Kingdom. Open to all ages, though material will contain adult content. THE SHOW PONIES — Five-piece Americana band The Show Ponies released their latest studio effort, “How It All Goes Down,” in January and are bringing their new tour to George’s in Fayetteville at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. From the driving intro of “The Time It Takes” to the final fiddle note of the title track, “How It All Goes Down” is a folksy reflection on the end of the world.
