Occupation: creative director, Runway Group
Where I live: Bentonville
My favorite space is: my garage.
Why? My garage space is where I live and work and that is because I live my work. My days are spent creating opportunities for communities large and small to collaborate on public art and events. My interests are varied, and so are the projects I work on, from large multimedia productions involving video, photos, audio, graphic design, websites and social media, to public art installations and exhibits like murals, sculpture and interactive installations. I also enjoy producing events that require a mix of music, lighting and multimedia projection.
My work space is an ode to raw materials. When I'm working, inspiration can be found lurking in every corner. From a throne of paint cans to canvases ready to be painted upon, the space has no shortage of potential.
My trusty turntables are symbols of my interest in disc-jockeying that has followed me from place to place in my career. I'm proud to be a part of a DJ renaissance as a partner in Bentonville Local Radio (KOBV-FM, 103.3), a new low-powered station produced in the historic Meteor Theater in downtown Bentonville.
If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Add more shelving! Always finding ways to gather more, and storage is a luxury.
