UA to offer new M.B.A. program track

The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville will begin offering a health-care management track for its executive Master of Business Administration program.

The track is the product of a collaboration between the Sam M. Walton College of Business and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health.

Students will be able to select health-care management as their area of concentration beginning this summer. The executive MBA program is offered to working professionals and features a mix of online courses and in-person classes held one Saturday each month.

The health-care management curriculum is designed for individuals seeking formal training in health care management. It consists of four classes and can be completed in two semesters.

To be considered for admission, an applicant must have a bachelor's degree and three or more years of professional experience in a management position, or have a clinical or professional degree.
