If there is not language in the state law that provides for the state taking over failing school districts to include FINANCIAL failures, then there should be. The LRSD is certainly guilty of squandering over a billion dollars. IF the LRSD EVER regains local control, and looking at the misfits that opposed this millage tax as the face of leadership, I'd say passing a millage tax in the future is not going to happen. The folks effectively sold FUD (Fear-Uncertainty- Doubt) in the recent election, and once they regain control it will be FUD that keeps them broke because no sensible person would give money to these clowns based on their history of spending.
As to the Russians and our presidential election, did they do any more to influence the vote than did CNN, MSNBC, FOX,CBS,NBC,ABC, the Washington Post, NY Times, or even the OBamas and the Clintons? The latter two lacked credibility and trust. So why can't you media freaks get off this and move on? Or is this the REAL partisan distrust?

Speaking of partisanship, the democrats have taken it to an insane level.
Now, no one in Washington gives a flyin' flip about James Comey, BUT, the dims, in their hatred of Trump, silently thanked Trump, then attacked him for purely political purposes.
Believe me, EVERY democrat was glad to see Comey go, whether they admit it publicly or not.
