EL DORADO -- The El Dorado-Union County branch of the NAACP is sponsoring a health fair.
The focus is on men's health, with the intent to address each person for evaluation and referral where indicated.
The health fair will include cardiovascular, respiratory and urological systems checks; general, mental, vision and oral health examinations; employment and educational options; ear, nose and throat resources; and information on infectious diseases, rest and relaxation, exercise, nutrition, veterans affairs and financial security.
The health fair will be held at the Fairview Community Association building, 1018 E. Wilson St., on June 24. Health providers can indicate their availability for participation by contacting NAACP chapter President Janice Bush at (870) 863-7437 or by email at janice.bush29@outlook.com.
