An Arkansas man was arrested Tuesday after multiple accusations of sexual solicitation, most recently from a 15-year-old, reports show.

On Sept. 25, a woman told Jonesboro police that a man had driven by her 15-year-old son twice at the intersection of South Madison Street and West Cherry Avenue. The victim said that both times as the driver passed, he had offered him money in exchange for being allowed to perform a sexual act on him, according to a report.

Police later identified the man as William Paul Jones, 47. The boy said Jones had also tried to get him to come to his vehicle earlier in the year. Jones was arrested Tuesday on a sexual solicitation charge after police issued a warrant.

Investigators found Jones had been arrested by Craighead County deputies in 2010 for soliciting sex acts from a 29-year-old man.

According to the 2010 report, the victim told police that Jones had driven by while he was riding his bike and offered him money to in exchange for allowing Jones to perform a sexual act on him.

Jones admitted to the solicitation, the 2010 report stated.

As of Thursday afternoon, Jones was being held at the Craighead County jail in lieu of a $4,000 cash-only bond, records show. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18, a jail administrator said.
