An Arkansas man was arrested Tuesday after a girl said he had raped her multiple times, according to police.
A news release from the Decatur Police Department stated that officers were contacted April 9 after the victim told her stepmother that Ulises Moreno, 30, had been assaulting her. Moreno denied the allegations when interviewed by an officer, authorities said.
The girl told police that Moreno first raped her when she was 11. At the time of the report, he was no longer in contact with the victim, according to police.
Moreno was arrested at his home shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday on a rape charge.
He has since been released from the Benton County jail on a $50,000 bond, records show.
