Police are investigating after a 27-year-old North Little Rock father reported that a man had pointed a gun at him as he was driving his wife and four children to basketball practice.
The father said it happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Percy Machin Drive near Pershing Boulevard, according to a North Little Rock Police Department report.
The man said his wife had been arguing with her sister and brother-in-law at the victim's home, and the brother-in-law later got into a vehicle and followed the family's vehicle, according to the report. At one point, the man pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to kill him, the report said.
"[The victim] advised that all occupants in the vehicle feared for their safety and believed that [the gunman] was going to shoot them," police wrote, noting the car was occupied by the driver, his wife and three 9-year-olds and a 6-year-old.
No injuries were reported.
The report identified the suspect, but no arrest had been made. He was not listed as an inmate at the Pulaski County jail Thursday afternoon.
