Robbed in driveway of Little Rock home, woman tells police

A woman was robbed at her home by two people wearing clown masks Wednesday, according to a report from the Little Rock Police Department.

The 30-year-old Little Rock resident told officers that she was in the garage of her Alamo Drive home about 3 p.m., getting things out of her car, when someone walked up behind her and put a hard object against her back.

"Give me your purse, and you will not get hurt," a male voice reportedly told her.

The robber took her purse, and by the time the woman turned around, he was getting into a vehicle that had pulled into her driveway, the woman told police.

There was another person in that vehicle, and both wore clown masks and gloves, authorities said. The car, which the woman described to police as a faded maroon 1990s model with a cracked front windshield and a bad scratch on the passenger side, reportedly drove north toward West Markham Street.

The woman's purse contained her cellphone, debit card and identification, according to the report.

The victim told police she thought the robbers followed her home from the U.S. Bank at 11402 W. Markham St., where she had gone to the ATM about 10 minutes before the robbery. She had withdrawn $2,000 from the Bank of America at 11315 Rodney Parham Road before that, she told officers.

Police have named no suspects, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
