Two men sought in electronics theft

Police were looking for two men Thursday suspected in the pre-dawn break-in at the Verizon Wireless store in Van Buren. The two made off with more than $10,000 in electronic devices, according to a police news release.

The release said the men threw a large rock through the glass front door of store at 2254 Fayetteville Road about 4:30 a.m. They took iPads, iPhones, Apple Watches and other electronics, the release said.

The men left in a small four-door passenger car.

Police were gathering more evidence and surveillance video from neighboring stores Thursday in addition to video obtained from the Verizon store, the release said.
