1st Quarter

LSU 7, ARKANSAS 0

Gary Cross muffed the kickoff and was tackled at the Arkansas 3. Austin Allen threw incomplete on 3 passes. DJ Chark muffed Blake Johnson’s punt but recovered at the LSU 49. After Derrius Guice ran for 10 yards, a holding penalty set LSU back and T.J. Smith sacked Danny Etling for an 8-yard loss on third and 13. Devwah Whaley gained 20 yards on a screen pass from Allen, but the Hogs punted after a third down sack by Donte Jackson. The Tigers drove to the 10, drew penalties for illegal substitution and illegal touching, then Connor Culp missed a 32-yard FG try. Arkansas went three and out. Chark shook free for a 45-yard touchdown pass from Etling. Jonathan Nance’s 9-yard catch put Arkansas at its 31.

2nd Quarter

ARKANSAS 7, LSU 7

Deon Stewart caught a 18-yard pass, and Arkansas reached its 48 before going backward. LSU sniffed out a screen to Austin Cantrell for an 8-yard loss and the Tigers took over at their 28 after Blake Johnson’s 32-yard punt. Derrick Dillon’s 8-yard catch converted third and 1, then Kamren Curl was flagged for interference as LSU reached the Hogs’ 38 before punting. Arkansas started from its 10 and punted from the 18. Randy Ramsey hit Danny Etling for a 7-yard sack, and the Tigers punted. Jeremy Patton had 2 receptions for 36 yards and Devwah Whaley ran for 21 yards. David Williams ran for 12 yards and Austin Allen scrambled for 8 to set up Whaley’s 1-yard tying touchdown to cap an 86-yard drive.

3rd Quarter

LSU 19, ARKANSAS 10

Stephen Sullivan caught a 19-yard pass, then Russell Gage and Tory Carter had 15-yard gains on a sweep and dump pass. Derrius Guice ran for a 6-yard TD and Connor Culp missed the PAT. De’Vion Warren’s 27-yard return was followed by Will Gragg’s 33-yard catch. The Hogs overcame a holding call with 3 carries for 22 yards by David Williams before Connor Limpert’s 38-yard FG. Guice had carries of 4, 19 and 33 yards, the last a TD. Culp missed the PAT. LSU drew a personal foul, following by holding on the Hogs. Arkansas reached the LSU 49 before Austin Allen threw incomplete. Blake Johnson’s punt bounced backward 18 yards to the LSU 31. The Tigers drew a holding call and faced third and 9 as the quarter ended.

4th Quarter

LSU 33, ARKANSAS 10

DJ Chark hauled in Danny Etling’s 68-yard TD pass on the first play of the quarter. David Williams’ 17-yard run and Jonathan Nance’s 11 yard catch put Arkansas in LSU territory. Jeremy Patton caught a 7-yard shovel pass to the LSU 35. A chop block on Hjalte Froholdt snuffed the series. LSU punted to the Hogs’ 13. The Tigers stopped Cole Kelley on fourth and 1 from the Arkansas 22. LSU cashed in the short field on Derrius Guice’s 1-yard TD run. Will Gragg had an 11-yard catch and La’Michael Pettway a 25-yard reception. Arkansas reached the LSU 26. Kelley threw incomplete in the end zone twice before Andraez Williams ended the drive with an interception in the end zone. The Tigers ran out the clock.
