WHAT: Red Rose Sweet Temptations Tea
STATS: One tea bag (makes 8 ounces) contains zero calories and zero carbohydrate, fiber, sugar and protein grams. Each box contains 18 tea bags. We purchased them online at redrosetea.com.
THE SKINNY: Typically we're not tea people.
But we are dessert people. And when we read all the glowing testimonials about Red Rose Sweet Temptations Tea in dessert flavors (Blueberry Muffin, Lemon Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake and Caramel Apple Pie), we had to try it.
We haven't found it locally yet (if you have, please help a sister out), which meant paying $9.19 to ship the $15.96 ($14.36 with an online discount) Sweet Temptations Bundle of four boxes and a random collectible tractor figurine (?) we didn't request.
But it was worth it. This is quite possibly our favorite Slim Pickings find of the whole year. The highly aromatic, Stevia-sweetened, caffeine-free teas are a soothing treat (especially with a teeny splash of heavy cream; I'm low-carbing these days) for several senses.
Our new motto: Stop and smell the Rose's.
