A 65-year-old Arkansas woman was found dead in her home Sunday night after a fire there, authorities said.
The Garland County sheriff told the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record that a preliminary investigation revealed Linda Camp died of smoke inhalation from a blaze at her residence in the 200 block of Winchester Point, which is west of Hot Springs.

Autumn Carlisle, fire chief/director of operations of the 70 West Fire Department, said in a news release that Camp was found inside after crews responded about 7:41 p.m.
By that time, the fire had "extinguished itself due to lack of oxygen," Carlisle noted, adding it appeared Camp "attempted to escape but was unsuccessful."
The cause of the fire wasn't yet known.
