Cache Restaurant was transformed into a Las Vegas-style casino Nov. 9 by supporters of Women & Children First.
Guests were greeted near the entrance by fire poi artist Camille Rule, who twirled chains with flaming wicks. Inside, event co-chairs Aimee-Claire Quinney and Nicole Gray made sure the partygoers were having a good time.
The event included a silent auction, game tables for craps and blackjack, gourmet snacks concocted by the staff at Cache and a dance party on the second floor. Elvis was even in the building.
For more than 40 years, Women & Children First has helped women and their children live independently and free from domestic violence. WCF provides crisis intervention, safe shelter, social and legal advocacy and support services.
