Springdale High 42, Van Buren 40

Marquesha Davis scored with 4.1 seconds left to lift Springdale past Van Buren on Saturday.

Davis finished with 17 points and Sarah Vogel 11 for the Lady Bulldogs, who won two out of three games in the First National Bank Tournament at Paragould. The Lady Bulldogs won consecutive games after losing to Batesville in the first round on Thursday.

Davis scored 32 points and Vogel had 11 in a 59-49 win over Hoxie on Friday.

Dover 56, Haas Hall 37

Abby Reichert scored a game-high 29 points to power Dover to a nonconference road win.

Jordan Cousar scored 20 for Haas Hall.

Exeter, Mo. 39, Decatur 23

Sammie Skaggs scored 11 points for Decatur (1-2) in its loss Friday.

Berryville 65, Eureka Springs 20

Bailea Smith scored 19 points to lead Berryville to a nonconference win Friday night.

Gracie Lester scored 12 for the Lady Highlanders.

Norfork 64, Jasper 55

Undefeated Norfork won the Arvest Tournament by knocking off Jasper on Saturday.

Macy Dillard led Norfork (12-0) with 17 points. Emma Lewis led Jasper (8-3) with 12.

Boys

Wynne 57, Springdale Har-Ber 50

A low-scoring game for three quarters turned into a track meet in the fourth quarter as Wynne claimed a narrow win over Springdale Har-Ber on Saturday in the Bearcat Classic in Brookland.

Har-Ber (1-2) led 30-26 at the end of the third quarter before Wynne went on a scoring spree. Wynne scored more points in the final quarter (31) than it did in the three previous quarters combined. Har-Ber scored 20 fourth-quarter points.

Four players scored in double-figures for Wynne, led by Terry Burgess with 15. Kameron Clark added 14, Tyler Hutchinson 12 and Chris Grider 11.

Junior point-guard Tylor Perry led Har-Ber with 20 points and Josh Ezell added 13.

Har-Ber went 1-2 in the tournament after dropping a 58-57 decision to Nettleton on Friday on a shot at the buzzer.

The Wildcats will be off until Saturday when they take on Little Rock Central at North Little Rock in the Turkey Classic.

Lavaca 57, Magazine 48

Ryan Dockery scored a game-high 19 points and teammate Chance Walker added 18 more as Lavaca knocked off Magazine Friday. Andrew Wright was the third player in double figures for the Golden Arrows with 10.

For Magazine, Max Greb scored a team-high 14 points and Landon Gilbert added 11.

Dover 69, Haas Hall 47

Blake Massengale scored 17 points to lead Dover past Haas Hall on Friday.

Jackson Wisdom scored a game-high 27 to lead Haas Hall (0-3).

Omaha 54, Alpena 37

Omaha outscored Alpena 21-9 in the fourth quarter to pull away and remain undefeated during a 2A/1A District 1 game Friday night in Omaha.

Dillon Gant scored six of his 19 points in the fourth quarter for Omaha (9-0), while Trey Stone scored eight of his 14 over the final 8 minutes. Jonathan Stone led Alpena (4-4) with 11, while Braylee Bell and Corey Holsted added 10 apiece.

Deer 60, Lead Hill 39

Deer improved to 9-0 as the Antlers jumped out to a 19-3 first-quarter lead and cruised past Lead Hill in a 2A/1A District 2 game.

Caden Young had 19 points for Deer, while Dylan Smith and Johnny Smith chipped in 11 apiece. Ethan Nuessner led Lead Hill (4-9) with 23 points.

West Fork 74, Johnson County Westside 44

The Tigers jumped to a 39-19 halftime lead and cruised to their second straight win to open the season Friday night.

Brenon Burks led a balanced scoring attack for West Fork with 13 points. Mason Ramey added 12 points and eight rebounds, while Garren Wynn chipped in 11 and Jack Neyman 10. Johnny Di'camilllo also grabbed eight rebounds for the Tigers.
