On Missouri's strength of schedule ...

eaglehog5: My goodness. How does an SEC team manage to play a schedule like that? As bad as we are, we could have won seven or eight games playing that schedule. If this team and coaching staff has anything left in the tank, this is a winnable game. Unfortunately, the bullies from Stankville left us much worse for the wear than the Commodores left Mizzou. They will likely skate out of town with their sixth straight win and feeling good about themselves. Sometimes life just ain't fair.

bakedhog19741: The seniors' last game. Bret's last game, Missery's trash-talking linebacker's last game. Maybe they show big-time emotion and wear Missery out for four quarters. Or even better, they win the first half and we turn it around in the second half and win. Completely reverse last year's debacle and use it as a springboard for next season.

Kwatt54: I'd love nothing more than to see the Hogs pull together and get an end-of-the-year win. I'm taking my cousin with me, who is a Mizzou fan, to the game. I hope the coaches can put it together and stay out of the way in order to win. Unfortunately, I think it will be ugly, and fast. I think the Tigers beat us by more than two touchdowns. There's always next year!

Hogbacker: The key to the game is to get to the Lock. WPS.

prorodeo51: I remember watching (Missouri quarterback Drew) Lock two years ago in Fayetteville. He has really improved his game since that day.

Hawgcotton: Friday's game may get ugly early if they play like they did against Vandy. Nice turnaround from earlier in the year.

eaglehog5: They have built their streak on the backs of the weak. Just look at that lineup of losers, quitters and lightweights. Not a decent team in the bunch. If we can play with the same energy and fire we played with (against MSU) we can go down to the wire with them and only lose a heartbreaker.

cleverhog: Lock was 10-0f-25 passing (against Vanderbilt). If we shut down the run we should have a decent chance against them on Friday. If.

Regarding Arkansas' last-minute, 28-21 loss to Mississippi State ...

Jhawg: We just have no playmakers. The turning points to me are, Austin Allen running at midfield and fumbling. That was a killer. Randy Ramsey brick-handing a sure pick-six. Brutal. Those two plays on third and 2. My wife could have done better. Those two plays were our best options? MSU tried to give it to us. We just wouldn't take it.

JJhog18: Yeah, I agree we lack playmakers and I have never seen so many receivers fall down after making a catch.

Hawgjawbend: No kidding. Great point about the falling down. No home-run hitters. Nance and Jordan Jones are the main culprits. Of course, our QB is not accurate. He needs to hit those guys in stride.

Kwatt54: I think we have playmakers. I just don't think we utilize them in a way that's beneficial for us. Our offense doesn't do very well getting guys the ball in space.

On playing winning football at Arkansas ...

pike1205: Didn't realize Arkansas has never been to a bowl game for seven straight years. I am beginning to wonder if we truly can win consistently here. ... Can we win yearly or is 10 wins a target every three to five years?

Swine Fusion: People have romanticized the 60s as our golden era, but we weren't in a bowl in '63, '66 or '67. Of course, we turned one down in '66 after the death of a player and the season-ending loss to Texas Tech that kept us out of the Cotton Bowl. But '63 and '67 we deserved the holidays at home. (Arkansas) also turned down a bowl in 1970 as 9-2.

TJD63: So many more bowls now than other decades. We would have gone by today's qualifications in 1972 (6-5), 1973 (5-5-1), 1974 (6-4-1), 1976 (5-5-1) and 1983 (6-5). So after the losing season of 1967, Arkansas would have been bowl-eligible every year from 1968-1989. Would have been some minor bowls no doubt in some years, but there are lots of those around these days that get coaches contract extensions, and not just the UA.

Predictions for Friday's game against Missouri ...

Jackson Reid: 44-27, Mizzou.

Kwatt54: 50-21. Mizzou gets another.

Army Hog: Too much Misery. Not enough Hogs.

Neastarkie: MU is playing well, especially on offense. They have a future NFL QB who will pick us apart. We will play hard, but we don't have the hosses to hang with them. (At this point in the season, injuries and now discipline issues really are having an impact.) MU 45, Arkansas 28.

GentryRzrbk: Arkansas 55, Mizzou 49.

Razorwill: Going against the grain here. Hoping the Hogs man up, play with max effort. Coaches, knowing they are gone, put it together one last time. Arkansas 42, Missouri 40.

white25: Arkansas 26, Mo. 22. BB's last stand.

Bballhawg: 35-31. Go for it on fourth down and call the fumblerooski and get the game-winner!

Boarbarian: Sadly, I fear Arkansas gets rolled. If the Razorbacks win it will be for the seniors. Naw, no gas in the tank. I just don't think this team can win. They know if they lose they are dead last in the SEC. I don't think they have the ability to save themselves from that indignity.

LDHog: Hogs 38, Tigers 28. WPS!

bikehog23: Hogs were within 3 with four minutes to go in the third quarter against LSU, leading with five minutes to go in the fourth quarter against Mississippi State. Just need to figure out how to get over that second-half slump and actually finish, like they did against Coastal Carolina and Ole Miss. Can't go against the Hogs, 27-24.

edwaco: Seniors play all out for last game for them and CBB. Hogs 38, Moo 35.

drhog: Defensive game. Hogs 7, Tigers 3.

adgebg: Hogs win, 45-38,

Jimbeau77: Key interception late saves us. Hogs 31, Mizzou 27.

Hawginator: I have seen every Razorback game this year (live or on TV) and I've watched the bulk of Mizzou's games on TV. Nothing I have seen would lead me to believe Arkansas has much of a chance to win this game. Nice that it's senior day, and nice that it's at home -- albeit in front of fewer than 30,000, I suspect. But I don't see how we stop that fast break offense for four quarters. Missouri 49, Arkansas 24.
