Planetarium Show: Mystery of the Christmas Star
ARKADELPHIA — Henderson State University will present Mystery of the Christmas Star at 7 p.m. Thursday and at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 in HSU’s Reynolds Science Center Planetarium. A Festival of Christmas
ARKADELPHIA — Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Fine Arts will present A Festival of Christmas at 7:30 p.m. both days in the Jones Performing Arts Center to mark the 25th anniversary of the event and of the construction of the arts center. The concert will feature the Ouachita Concert Choir, Ouachita Sounds, the Women’s Chorus, the Ouachita Singers and the Ouachita Honor Choir, a children’s chorus, along with instrumental groups. Holiday Bazaar

Holiday Lights
HOT SPRINGS — The 15th annual Holiday Lights event will begin at 3 p.m. daily through New Year’s Eve, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas days, at Garvan Woodland Gardens. The event will feature ice tunnels, a fully animated James the Train, a miniature Train Garden, a free hot-chocolate tent and 4 acres of holiday lights. Stuff the Bus
BRYANT/BENTON — Now through December, the Bryant and Benton school-bus drivers will team up to start an annual Saline County Stuff the Bus Christmas event for the children of Saline County. Smithsonian Hometown Teams Exhibit
ARKADELPHIA — Ouachita Baptist University will host a national traveling exhibition titled Hometown Teams, presented by the Smithsonian Institution, through Dec. 9 in the Mabee Fine Arts Center’s Hammons Gallery. Ageless Bikers Club
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Ageless Bikers Club has 10 different bike rides that are 16 to 35 miles long. The rides are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays on quiet paved country roads (one ride has up to 3 miles of gravel). No one is left behind, and the group stops often to regroup and socialize. Several rides are “out and back,” so the beginner can turn back for a shorter ride. Merry Mixers Dance Club
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Merry Mixers Dance Club meets at 7:30 p.m. the third Saturday of each month in the Coronado Community Center. A dance lesson will be held at 7 p.m. before dances begin.
