The artwork of Chad Maupin was featured on Nov. 10 in The Art Department, the quarterly exhibition by the Thea Foundation at its headquarters in North Little Rock.
The event also featured heavy hors d'oeuvres by Ben E. Keith and beer and wine. Guests could visit with the Fayetteville-based artist and had a chance to win one of his original prints.
The exhibit titled "Astro Pulp" feature comic-book type illustrations of a "FrankeNaut" universe he created inspired by science fiction and old horror movies. The exhibition will be on display through Dec. 8.
