22-year-old shot in leg while at Little Rock party, police say

A Little Rock man was shot in the leg at a party early Saturday, according to a police report.

Officers responded about 1:30 a.m. to UAMS Medical Center, where the 22-year-old victim told officers he had been at a "kickback" near the intersection of 21st and Martin streets when he heard gunshots.

The 22-year-old reportedly started running down the street, then looked down and realized he had been shot. He said he flagged down a vehicle and got a ride to Big Dawg Motorcycle Club in the 8700 block of Colonel Glenn Road to meet his mother, who drove him to the hospital for treatment, the report states.

His injury was not believed to be life-threatening.

No suspects were named and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
