Police have identified the man who was injured in a drive-by shooting in Little Rock on Monday night.
According to a police report, officers were sent to a home in the 3500 block of South Ringo Street shortly after 8:15 p.m. When they arrived, they reportedly found 22-year-old Cleo Martin of Little Rock bleeding from his right thigh.
Martin told police that a dark green Chevrolet Malibu had pulled up next to him while he was walking to a store on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
According to the report, someone in the vehicle then opened fire, striking the 22-year-old in the leg.
Martin told authorities that he walked to his cousin's house after he was shot. While there, an officer reportedly instructed the cousin to use a belt to stop the bleeding.
The 22-year-old was then taken UAMS Medical Center, police said. A department spokesman Monday night said Martin's were not life-threatening.
No suspects were named at the time of the report.
