A man was shot in the foot near downtown North Little Rock on Saturday night, police said.
Willie Treadway, 54, told officers he was walking around 8 p.m. in the 600 block of East Washington Avenue, which is east of Verizon Arena on the other side of Interstate 30, when a black vehicle pulled up.
Treadway looked to his left and saw two black males in what he believed to be a Toyota, according to a North Little Rock Police Department report. One male extended his right arm out of the passenger window and fired, striking Treadway in the foot, the report said.
Officers said they found Treadway at a local emergency room about a half hour later.
When investigators returned to the scene, they were unable to locate the assailants or evidence from the shooting, according to the report.
No arrests have been made.
