18-wheeler carrying coffee catches on fire while on I-30 in Arkansas, department says

Authorities say an 18-wheeler carrying coffee caught on fire while driving on Interstate 30 in Arkansas on Saturday morning.

Kenny Williams, a firefighter with the Arkadelphia Fire Department, said the blaze began on Interstate 30, south of Arkadelphia, around 3:40 a.m. The vehicle's trailer was damaged in the fire, authorities said.

It was not immediately known what caused the fire.

The Gum Springs Fire Department, Clark County sheriff's office and Arkansas State Police also responded.

Williams said no injuries were reported.
