22-year-old seriously hurt in shooting at Little Rock apartment complex, police say

A 22-year-old man suffered serious injuries after being shot multiple times at an apartment complex in Little Rock, police say.

An officer with the Little Rock Police Department responded around 6:35 p.m. Monday to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in reference to a shooting, according to a report.

The 42-year-old father of Eric Hill told police that he received a phone call that his son had been shot around 6:20 p.m. at 1200 Geyer St., the listed address for Eastview Terrace Apartments.

The father then drove Hill to the hospital. He told police he was unaware of what exactly had happened, the report sates.

Hill’s 24-year-old brother said that he was at the apartment complex with him but did not witness the shooting. He, too, had been informed by someone else, according to authorities.

Police said Hill sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen, noting that the injuries were considered serious at the time of the report.

No arrests had been made in the shooting as of Tuesday morning.
