Police: Man thought wallet had been taken, then threatened to stab North Little Rock woman

A woman told North Little Rock investigators that a man held a knife to her chest and threatened to stab her because he thought his wallet had been taken.

Officers responded around 1:15 p.m. Saturday to a residence in the 4500 block of Haywood Street in reference to a disturbance, according to a North Little Rock Police Department report.

The victim, who was not visibly injured, told authorities that the assailant left the scene before their arrival.

A suspect was named in the report, though his name did not appear in Pulaski County jail records as of Wednesday morning.

The report described the man as a "mutual friend" of the woman.
