Son shot in Little Rock, dad runs him to hospital

An officer with the Little Rock Police Department went to Arkansas Children's Hospital around 6:35 p.m. Monday in reference to a shooting, according to a report.

The 42-year-old father of Eric Hill told police that he received a phone call that his son had been shot around 6:20 p.m. at 1200 Geyer St., the listed address for Eastview Terrace Apartments.

The father drove Hill to the hospital. He told police he was unaware of what exactly had happened, the report sates.

Hill's 24-year-old brother said he was at the apartment complex but did not witness the shooting. He, too, had been informed by someone else, authorities said.

Police said Hill suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the abdomen, noting the injuries were considered serious at the time of the report.

No arrests had been made in the shooting as of Tuesday.
