3 robbed at gunpoint in Little Rock home invasion, police say

Two men entered a Little Rock home and robbed three women inside at gunpoint Thursday afternoon, according to a police report.

A 39-year-old woman told police that two gunmen had "pushed their way" into her home in the 9000 block of Chicot Road, where her 20-year-old daughter and her son's 18-year-old girlfriend were in the living room.

The woman, who was lying down in her bedroom, said she heard her daughter scream, "Mamma, they are trying to kill us!"

She ran into the living room, where her daughter was reportedly sitting on the couch with one of the men holding a small silver gun to her head. When she tried to get between her daughter and the gun, the other man pointed a gun at her, the report said.

"Give us all the money you have," the men reportedly told her.

One man held a gun to her head while she walked around the house trying to gather any money she had, finding $5 in bills and coins in the living room table drawer, the report said. When she handed over the money, the men reportedly fled on foot toward Preston Road. Her daughter and her son's girlfriend left to get help, the woman told police.

Just after 4 p.m., officers were called back to the home on Chicot Road. There, a 27-year-old man whom the 39-year-old accused in the robbery said he was there to "defend himself," according to the report.

He was taken into custody on a failure to appear warrant but had not been charged in the robbery as of Friday afternoon, police say.

One of the gunmen was described as a 21-year-old who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and has short hair.

No arrests have been made.
