Construction on Old Missouri Road in Springdale will require overnight lane closures beginning Monday and lasting about seven weeks, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews performing asphalt work on a section of Old Missouri Road, also called Arkansas 265, between U.S. 412 and Randall Wobbe Lane will alternately close lanes from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily, weather permitting, until the work is completed.
Traffic will be controlled by signs, flaggers and traffic cones, the department said.
The work is part of a $1.8 million project to replace the asphalt and stripe the roadway to provide a turn lane between East Mountain Road and Randall Wobbe Lane.
