Motorcycle overturns on Arkansas highway, killing 60-year-old woman

A 60-year-old woman was killed in a single-motorcycle wreck on an Arkansas highway earlier this month, state police said.

The motorcycle was traveling south on Arkansas 25 in Cleburne County about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 7 when its driver, 59-year-old Bobby F. Crider, "failed to negotiate a curve," according to a report released Saturday.

The Harley-Davidson then overturned, killing passenger Renea Bradley, authorities said. Crider was injured in the crash and taken to a nearby hospital.

Bradley was a Winneconne, Wis., resident, and Crider is from Quitman, police said.

Conditions were said to be clear and dry at the time of the wreck.

At least 395 people have died in crashes on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary state police data.
