About 9:30 a.m., an individual wearing a surgical mask came to the Bank of the Ozarks at 3650 N. State Highway 7 in Hot Springs Village, the sheriff's office said. He handed the bank teller a note demanding money and left on foot, according to the release.

The robber is described in the release as a white male who stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 280 pounds.
