A Little Rock man was arrested Saturday after a woman said he pointed a gun at her, then beat her with it, according to an arrest report from the Pulaski County sheriff's office

Deputies reportedly responded to an address in the 11400 block Luther Lane shortly before noon Saturday. There, a 34-year-old woman with injuries to her left arm told officers that Eric Lashawn Winston, 47, had pointed a gun at her and hit her in the head and arm with it, the report states.

A 28-year-old woman at the house backed up the story, authorities said, and both women told deputies that they could find Winston in the 6000 block of Arkansas 365 South, which is across from First Baptist Church of Sweet Home.

Winston was booked into the Pulaski County jail at 3 p.m. Saturday, jail records show. He remained there Monday morning and faces charges of aggravated assault and third-degree battery. No bail has been set.
